Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción

Of ancient origin, celebrated in front of the atrium of the church and having the appearance of sacramental 'auto'.

The day of the Asunción is when the offering is given to the Virgin, performed by the major-domo in the Plaza Mayor, in the presence of the inhabitants of the 'mountain villages, in traditional costume normally worn at fiestas. The following day, the 'La Loa' is presented, parliament recited in the 'gracioso', the first part is sung, finishing up with words praising the Virgin, to which the 'gracioso' and the 'galanes' are dedicated.
