Albariño (white wine grape) wine festival in Cambados

The Galicia town of Cambados celebrates the Albariño Festival during the first week in August, where homage is paid to this exquisite white wine, famous around the world.

There is a highly varied programme of activities associated with the festival: courses, conferences, concerts, street entertainment, music, traditional folklore, open-air parties… Local associations fill this small coastal town with colour and joy, and thousands of bottles of this fresh, smooth, sweet wine (considered one of Europe’s best whites) are uncorked.
